Epson Stylus D92 in the lime light

Budget printers from Epson of the past have usually been good quality but recent ones have been a little lacking in terms of quality and value for money in running costs. Epson D92 ink cartridges are expensive but they come as individual printer ink cartridges so you only have to change the colour that is empty and not a whole block of colours. This is more economical than the old tri-colour mono block printer cartridges but they are still expensive when you have to buy a full set, especially when compared them to the cost of the printer itself. In terms of printing performance the Stylus D92 is good, it prints all types of documents as you would except and also print high quality photos with ease. The speed in which it prints is less impressive however, the best speed the stylus D92 in capable of is 25 pages per minute but this is in draft quality mode and in standard mode it is only capable of 2.5 pages per minute. The D92 feels solid in it construction, the plastics used feel better than previous models and the unit itself is very compact and very well put together, everything have its place and feels like it should be where it is. The stylus D92 is designed to be a general purpose budget printer and it is exactly that, you can’t expect much when you paying this little.
